How to read the prices
| Price | What it means |
|---|---|
| Price | The pharmacy's shelf price without a prescription discount or a loyalty card. |
| With loyalty card | The price for holders of the pharmacy chain's customer card, when the pharmacy reports one. |
| Reference price | The price the Health Insurance Fund (Tervisekassa) bases its reimbursement on. Above it, the patient pays the difference. |
| With a prescription (50–100%) | What you pay with a reimbursed prescription at that rate, prescription fee included. Your rate is printed on the prescription. |
Pharmacies set their own margins within the legal limits. Many medicines cost almost the same everywhere, but for some the most expensive pharmacy charges a third more than the cheapest. A reimbursed prescription narrows the gap but does not close it, so comparing pays off for medicines you take every month.
What the medicine actually does
This site is only about price and where to buy: it does not say what a medicine treats or how to take it. For that — what it is for, whether to take it with food, the alcohol note and the timing — read the plain-language medicine reference.
Which pharmacies have prices
All 502 pharmacies in Estonia are listed here with their address, phone number and opening hours. Of those, 387 publish a price list, so those are the ones with prices. The rest sell the same medicines — their prices are simply not published anywhere we can read, so ask them directly.
Prices come from the pharmacies' own lists and can change during the day. Check the price at the pharmacy before you buy. This is not medical advice: ask a pharmacist or doctor about which medicine is right for you.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the same medicine cost a different amount?
Pharmacies set their own margins within the legal limits. Many medicines cost almost the same everywhere, but for some the most expensive pharmacy charges a third more than the cheapest.
Do you see my location?
No. Distances are worked out in your browser. Your position is not sent to TempoLife or stored; only your choice of town can be remembered on your own device.
Can I buy the medicine here?
No. This page only compares prices. You buy from the pharmacy itself, in person or from its own e-pharmacy; a prescription medicine needs a valid prescription.
How fresh are the prices?
The price lists are read every night. Each page shows the date of the newest update, and a price older than three days is marked with its own date.
